Our Story
Rio Salto began with two parents and lifelong creatives who shared an appreciation for beautiful, thoughtfully designed homes.
While creating spaces of our own, we kept returning to one of the home's most overlooked details: hardware. Switch plates and outlet covers were everywhere, yet rarely treated as part of the design itself.
We saw them differently.
What began with a desire to make these everyday details more considered grew into Rio Salto, a family-owned brand dedicated to creating hardware that brings character, intention, and beauty to the home.
Because when every other element of a room has been thoughtfully chosen, the details on the wall should be, too.
Compared, tested, and tested again.
Tried in our own homes first.
Before a plate ever reaches you, it's been on our walls. We compare finishes side by side, test them again, and then live with them for a while: morning light, late nights, everyday hands. If it still makes us happy a while later, it's ready. If not, we keep working. We hope you notice it in the details.
With care,
Harry & Andrea

A Style for Every space
Your home should feel like your own.
That's why Rio Salto isn't defined by one particular aesthetic. Our collections offer different forms, finishes, and design perspectives, giving you the freedom to choose the details that feel right for your space.
Whether quietly complementing the room or becoming a detail worth noticing, each piece is designed to feel like it belongs.
