Rio Salto Finish Guide

Find the finish that fits your space, from warm brushed golds to modern black and soft ivory.

Every finish brings its own mood, from warm and classic to cool and modern. Not every finish comes in every collection, so we've listed where each one is available.

A note on color: screens show color differently, and metal finishes shift with the light, so a finish can look warmer, cooler, lighter or deeper in your room than it does on your screen.

Plates with the same finish name are made to coordinate, though slight variations in color and texture can occur and aren't defects. If you're matching existing hardware, compare our photos in your own lighting or email us at molly@riosalto.com.

Caring for your finish: wipe plates with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. For anything sticky, use a drop of mild soap and water, then dry. Spray cleaners onto the cloth, never onto the plate, and avoid abrasive pads, scouring powders, bleach, ammonia and metal polishes, which can wear or strip the finish.

Not sure which to choose? Mixing finishes throughout your home creates a lived-in, designer look.
